About Milo
Meet Milo! This little guy is ready to write his next chapter. Milo is a 3-month-old Schnauzer and West Highland White Terrier mix, weighing in at about 6 pounds of pure puppy cuteness. He and his brother OJ came to Once Upon A Prayer Pet Rescue after their previous family realized puppies require more dedication than anticipated. Thankfully, these two found their way to us and are now getting the guidance they need to become the amazing companions they are meant to be. Milo has been fully vetted and is adjusting well to his new routine. He’s learning that his kennel is a safe space and that potty time happens outside. It took a bit of time for him to adapt, but he's making great progress and starting to stay dry more consistently. While he’s still a puppy needing further training, he is already off to a fantastic start! Milo is friendly with dogs, cats, kids, and everyone he meets. He exhibits a playful curiosity but tends to be a bit more reserved compared to his brother OJ, taking time to assess his surroundings before joining in. However, once he feels comfortable, his charming puppy personality shines through. Milo is a blank slate—eager for someone to teach him, love him, and show him how wonderful life can be. He’ll be an excellent companion for a family willing to help him grow. If your heart is open to this sweet little guy who may need a little time to come out of his shell, Milo is excited to meet you! As with all adoptable dogs, Milo will go home with a collar, leash, toy, and two bowls, along with his current food. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. His adoption fee is $1000, which is tax-deductible and supports our ongoing rescue efforts.
