Meet Violet! This beautiful girl spent the first eight years of her life tied up in a neglected yard, where kindness from people was hard to find. Rescued from a life of hardship, she is now discovering what it feels like to be loved and cared for. Violet is a Black Lab Mix, weighing about 65 lbs. With her gorgeous, soulful eyes, she seems to communicate effortlessly with people, responding well to commands and eager to please. She enjoys lounging in her foster's secure yard and appreciates the company of other dogs, though her main focus is on her humans. Violet walks well on a leash and is a calm passenger during car rides, making her an excellent companion. Despite her past, she retains a love for life, maintaining an active spirit that shows she still enjoys getting out and about. Violet is fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations with no heartworm issues. She is housebroken and demonstrates good manners while enjoying freedom in her foster home.
