About Cake
Cake has a gentle personality and a history that remains a mystery. She lived with cats in her previous home and is looking for a patient adopter. Adjusting to new environments takes her time; she prefers to settle at her own pace. Slow introductions to new people and places will help her feel secure. Cake is shy and sensitive, requiring extra love and support. Ideally, she needs a home with only adult humans. Her foster has seen her transform from a reserved kitten into a curious and playful cat. Cake and her sister Hilly have thrived in foster care, eagerly exploring their surroundings. Cake is especially motivated by churu treats and has begun to enjoy chin scratches. While still a bit hesitant around human touch, she is learning to trust. This sweet girl would benefit from a calm environment, and while she may come to tolerate children, she might find their unpredictable movements daunting. Playtime is Cake's favorite, particularly with cardboard boxes and paper bags. She's shown little aggression, except during the occasional playful spat with her sister. Hiding when strangers arrive is a common behavior, but Cake will peek out to investigate if people remain calm. She's ready to find her forever home with a loving human who can share playtime and snuggles, while also allowing her the space to grow. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
