Charlie is a very shy girl who is still learning that people can be trusted. She’ll need a special person who understands that socializing a timid cat takes time, patience, and a whole lot of love. Charlie came to us as a trap, and she’s still working on building her confidence around people. She may not be the kitten who runs up to greet you right away, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet girl who deserves the chance to come out of her shell at her own pace. There are two things Charlie is definitely confident about: wet food and water! She absolutely loves her wet food, and apparently her water bowl is also a fantastic toy. Playing in the water and making a little splashy mess is one of her favorite pastimes. Charlie will do best with someone who is willing to let her set the pace and celebrate the little victories along the way. With patience, consistency, and a safe environment, we hope Charlie will continue to discover just how wonderful life can be. She may need a little extra time to trust you—but for the right person, watching Charlie blossom could be incredibly rewarding. As of October 1, she will need a spay/neuter contract.
