About Kobe
Meet Kobe! This affectionate and fun-loving dog is back at the shelter after initially coming in as a puppy. He was recently found wandering alone and is now hoping to find a forever home. Kobe is full of energy and personality, adoring people and never turning down cuddles, treats, or learning new tricks. He's looking for an experienced, active adopter to continue his training journey. Kobe thrives on positive reinforcement and is eager to learn; heβs already made progress with cues like "sit," "off," and "leave it." To help him channel his enthusiasm, he needs plenty of exercise, structure, and enrichment. While Kobe has previously lived with other pets, he can be overexcited around other dogs and needs slow introductions. He does enjoy meeting them but might struggle to understand when another dog wants space. With children, he's shown good behavior in the past but currently needs a home without kids as he's working on impulse control and can be jumpy or mouthy. Kobe loves toys and treats and is enrolled in the Shelter Scholar program, learning valuable skills alongside volunteers. He's showing great improvements in his leash manners and is becoming more relaxed in his environment. Despite the challenges heβs faced, Kobe remains a loving companion eager to share a home with someone special. This sweet dog is ready to give and receive love. Make him a part of your family today!
