Meet Casper! This gentle, low-energy guy is currently living in a pop-up crate at the shelter due to overcapacity, making him a perfect candidate for adoption. Casper was surrendered by his owner, who could no longer care for him, and he's eager to find a calm, loving home where he can feel secure. Casper thrives in a tranquil, adult-only environment. His previous family described him as affectionate and house trained, with a love for car rides and cuddling up close. Although he can be timid in new situations, he has shown a friendly and outgoing demeanor with dogs both on and off leash. Casper may bark or growl at unfamiliar faces during walks, but he’s generally a warm-hearted companion. This boy has been recovering from some skin issues, and while he’s working through that, he’s remained gentle with staff and enjoys being around people. Casper needs patient adopters willing to provide him with the love and stability he deserves as he regains his confidence. Fun Fact: Casper may share a name with a friendly ghost, but this dog prefers cozy naps and quality time with his humans. He’s a sweet soul waiting for his next chapter!
