Dolly has fully embraced the luxurious indoor lifestyle after her days surviving on the streets. Now, she often perches atop a chair, surveying her kingdom like the queen of the neighborhood. When her leash comes out, she gleefully anticipates the adventures that await her. If your socks go missing while doing laundry, it’s likely Dolly’s idea of a treasure hunt. This Beagle/Heeler mix is curious and funny, constantly discovering the joys of life. Walks are a favorite pastime, where she delights in sniffing through the neighborhood and making canine acquaintances along the way. Dolly appreciates back scratches and has a charming habit of gently nibbling toes for attention. Though busy places can still overwhelm her, she grows more confident each day, realizing the world can be a safe and welcoming place. Dolly would flourish with a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. She would especially thrive in a home with another playful dog to keep her company, particularly during her lively "witching hour" between 4 and 6 p.m. When she feels secure, her goofy and affectionate personality truly shines.
