Dixie is a medium-sized mixed breed dog with a golden coat and a short hairstyle. She's had a rough start, having been starved at one point, which is why she tends to be protective of her food around other dogs. However, with proper training and patience, she can overcome this behavior. Despite her food quirks, Dixie is friendly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, as well as children, making her a great addition to a family. She does not get along with cats, so a feline-free home would be ideal. Currently, she’s altered, fully vaccinated, and housetrained, ready for her forever home.
