About Canelo

Canelo is a spirited and affectionate tripod Doberman ready for adoption at Santa Barbara Humane's Santa Maria Campus. This seven-year-old boy, with his chocolate brown coat, shows that having just three legs doesnโ€™t slow him down one bit. He leads an active lifestyle and thrives on companionship and love, having previously lived happily with another dog. Canelo deserves a family who will shower him with the attention and care he craves. He has a big heart and is eager to bond with his new forever family. Before heading home, he will be neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption also includes a complimentary post-adoption health exam and a supply of Hill's Science Diet food to help him settle in comfortably. Feel free to visit during adoption hours from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, except Wednesdays, to meet Canelo or another wonderful animal. No appointment is necessary!
