Sid is a delightful 7-year-old Chihuahua, weighing in at just 11 pounds. Found alone under a van after waiting for his previous owner to return, he came to our rescue exhausted and in need of care. Thanks to our supporters, Sid received the necessary medical attention, including dental work and a neuter operation. Now he’s a happy little guy ready for a loving home. As a true lap dog, Sid thrives on companionship. He likes to cuddle up while you're sitting, and he prefers to sleep under the covers at your feet. If you attempt to put him in a crate during gatherings, be prepared for some vocal protests! Sid is looking for someone who wants to share their space and a cozy bed with him. He’s also quite sociable with other small dogs, enjoying their company when you’re away. This little charmer has a fun quirk—he has a parrot mouth, giving him a permanent smile that’s hard to resist. He loves soft bedtime treats and enjoys sharing snacks with his human. Sid is house trained and has a good recall, always ready to come when called. Despite his earlier challenges, Sid remains tolerant of cats and gets along with dogs of all sizes, though he does prefer gentle playmates.
