She began her journey on the streets of St. Lucia, where, as a tiny puppy of just 10 weeks, she learned to navigate life alone, scavenging for food and avoiding dangers. Despite her harrowing beginnings, Petra's spirit remained strong. When she was found, she was timid and underweight, but with the dedicated support of her rescuers, she transformed into the joyful little dog she is today. Now in foster care with Bruno Project Rescue, Petra has embraced the beauty of companionship and play, thanks to her foster dog siblings. She adores outdoor adventures and lights up with excitement at the sight of her harness. Petra's joyful moments include walks, playtime with toys, a cozy resting spot, and, especially, breakfast time, which makes her leap in delight. Petra seeks a calm, patient home where she can flourish at her own pace. She thrives best in a quieter environment, without small children, and with someone who understands that trust takes time. This intelligent lady has learned her routines well and greets each day with growing confidence.
