About Buddy
This could be the start of something paw-some. Meet buddy! True to his name, buddy is a loving and loyal companion who has won over everyone at Friends of Homeless Animals with his affectionate personality, playfulness, and intelligence. He delights in giving hugs and kisses, knows several commands, and walks beautifully on leash. After a fun round of fetch or romping with his jolly ball, he’s more than happy to relax and enjoy a cozy nap by your side. Buddy rarely barks, has impressive house manners, and even handles bath time with ease. He’s looking for a quiet, adult-only home with someone familiar with dog behavior who will continue his positive reinforcement training. Because he can be protective of his people—especially when on leash or when strangers visit—a calm environment without frequent guests will help him feel secure. A fenced yard is perfect for buddy’s favorite games and zoomie sessions, and he thrives as the only pet in the household. While he’s dog-selective and may get along with the right calm companion, he prefers to be your one-and-only. Buddy isn’t suited for homes with cats or children, but he will reward you with unwavering loyalty and endless affection in the right home. Fun fact: Born on November 30th, buddy is a Sagittarius, known for their adventurous and fun-loving spirit! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
