About Winnie

Meet Winnie! This 1-year-old Corgi/Shepherd mix weighs about 30 pounds and embodies the spirited personality typical of Corgis—she's smart, confident, playful, and just a touch bossy! Winnie thrives on human companionship and has a knack for keeping everyone around her smiling with her mischievous antics. Winnie loves being around people, especially children, but her herding instincts may lead her to nip at the ankles of running kids, so she would be happiest in an older-child home. She adores playing with other dogs, particularly friendly, submissive ones who won’t mind her occasional attempts at being the boss. However, she can also do well as the only dog. Winnie has lived with cats and generally does fine, though she does love giving chase to them and squirrels when outside. Winnie is both crate and house trained, although you might need to help her learn to signal when she needs to go out. She enjoys car rides and is always up for new adventures! With her clever and curious nature, she loves to ‘steal’ socks and toys, so a watchful eye is needed. Winnie is a happy, affectionate, energetic girl looking for an active family who can provide the fun, exercise, and attention she craves. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations, ready for her forever home.
