About Homer

Meet Homer, a gentle 12+ year old Poodle who’s seeking a tranquil home for his golden years. He’s a quiet companion, happiest in an environment that values the special bond of a senior dog. Homer has lost one eye and requires daily eye drops for his remaining eye. He deals with some arthritis, which can affect his mobility. He takes medication to stay comfortable; recent bloodwork shows he’s doing well overall. A soft bed, a little sunshine, and a patient caretaker are all he needs to thrive. Homer does not get along with children, so a calm adult home is preferable. With his quiet disposition, he’ll offer the kind of companionship that can only be found with a senior dog. If you’re interested in meeting Homer, get in touch with The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs to arrange a visit. Adoption Sundays happen the last Sunday of each month from 2-4 PM at their Education Center in Cleveland, Ohio. This great old dog is waiting for a loving friend. Old Dogs, Great Friends!
