Meet Taysum, a beautiful 66-pound Silver Lab who knows what it’s like to be left behind. He spent his life as an outdoor hunting dog and is now ready to experience the comforts of home for the first time. Despite everything he's endured, Taysum is remarkably social and friendly. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him an ideal companion for a family. He truly deserves a loving home where he can learn about being an indoor dog while enjoying all the affection he missed growing up outside. Taysum is heartworm negative and is currently recovering from some flea-related skin issues, but he's receiving proper care to heal. His new family will need to be patient with him, teaching him house manners and the routines of home life since this is all brand new to him. Taysum will thrive in a loving environment with a secure, large yard where he can run, play, and expend some of his youthful energy. When playtime is over, he’ll want to be inside with his family, snuggled up in a warm spot, finally knowing he belongs. Are you the one to give Taysum the forever home he has always needed?
