About Velma
Velma’s story began on a rough note, but she doesn’t let that define her. Abandoned along with her sister at the previous Zeus’ Rescues location, Velma stands as a reminder of resilience. Now 1.5 years old, she is eager for a permanent place to call home and a family to share her gentle, loyal spirit. She brings a well-balanced energy: always up for play or a good couch cuddle, always tuned in to her people, and bursting with the kind of sweetness that makes every day brighter. Through it all, Velma has managed to keep her heart open, meeting each new face with hope and affection. She would do best with a family who can match her warmth and offer consistency and belonging. She's the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into daily walks, lazy Sundays, and just about any adventure you’re up for. Velma is not just waiting for shelter; she’s searching for her people, ready to fill a home with trust and unconditional love. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
