About Scout

Scout is a lively medium-sized dog weighing in at about 50 pounds. He’s packed with energy and always brings a positive vibe, but he will need a patient adopter with a large yard for him to run around and burn off that exuberance. While Scout knows a few basic commands, he’s currently working on his manners and would benefit from further training. He's fully vetted and microchipped, and he sleeps in a crate when unsupervised due to his puppy-like curiosity. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s making strides. Scout adores children and gets along well with other dogs, making him a great fit for families with capable older kids or those who already have a furry friend or two. If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate companion who loves to learn and play, Scout might be your perfect match. Start your journey together by applying to adopt!
