About Charli
Charli is located on Long Island and is available to surrounding areas. This beautiful girl is in need of someone to gently guide her through a world that feels intimidating. At 3 years old and weighing around 60 lbs, she’s been through a lot and shows signs of fear, particularly around new people and unfamiliar situations. While she currently shares her home with children and a sibling, she struggles with sibling syndrome and is often shy and timid. Charlie’s initial experiences didn’t provide her the socialization needed. Yet, with patience and understanding, she can blossom. She needs someone who can take her on that journey—someone who won’t rush her but will slowly introduce her to new experiences and celebrate her small victories. For now, we recommend a home without other pets. This focus will help her build confidence. Though she has a grain allergy requiring a grain-free diet, there are many food options available. Charlie has immense potential, and with the right person to nurture her, she can learn to navigate the world with more confidence. If you've got experience with undersocialized dogs or possess the patience and love to give her the chance she desperately needs, please apply. Help us show Charlie a beautiful world awaits her.
