About Carlton

Carlton is a distinguished gentleman, around 5 to 7 years old and weighing 62 lbs. He has the charm of a lab and the intelligence of a shepherd, making him a delightful companion. It's hard to understand how a good boy like him ended up on a high-volume shelter's dreaded list, but thankfully he was rescued before it was too late. Carlton showcases impressive house guest skills, and he behaves well in a crate. His leash walking is a joy, and he rides calmly in the car. He brings a gentle and loving presence to those around him, and he is friendly with other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a loving home. He’s the quiet, humble type, looking for a family to love him and provide stability. Currently, Carlton is clearing up a low-grade heartworm infection and has recently undergone dental work, so he's ready to embrace the best years of his life with his forever family. Carlton is in foster care in Mead, Colorado. *Please note that all adopters are required to come to Colorado to adopt. We do not transport dogs.* What are you waiting for? Apply today!
