About Lulu
Lulu is a beautiful Great Dane who is learning to navigate life after losing her beloved owner. After her human passed away, she spent a brief time with family before being surrendered to Oconee County Animal Services, where she now seeks a new forever home. Despite the recent upheaval, Lulu remains incredibly sweet and affectionate. She's fully house trained and will let you know when it's time to go outside by whimpering at the door or finding you to get your attention directly. She knows commands like sit, lay, shake, stay, and off, and there's no food or resource guarding with her. While she hasn't quite embraced toys yet, she definitely knows how to love her humans. Her excitement occasionally leads to her bouncing towards you, which is quite a sight given her size at 86 pounds. Lulu is reported to be friendly with dogs, although she seems a bit overwhelmed in the shelter and is currently focused more on people. She has not shown any adverse interest in cats, merely giving a casual glance when introduced to a friendly office cat.
