About Nova

Meet Nova, a gentle, affectionate girl who has captured hearts everywhere she goes. Initially found by a caring family, she came into rescue pregnant and lovingly raised her litter, co-parenting alongside another dog she didn't know. After her puppies were weaned, she returned to the family who discovered her, and now they seek a new home that suits her needs. Nova is a true delight. She loves people, flourishes with attention, and has had wonderful interactions with children. When she gets affection, she leans in for more cuddles, eager to curl up beside you for as long as possible. She's well-mannered, both leash-trained and house-trained, and thrives on being part of family life. Having lived with two other dogs, Nova initially adapted well, enjoying friendly encounters with new pups. However, she does show resource guarding behaviors around high-value items. Due to a recent altercation with another dog stemming from this guarding behavior, she needs to be the only dog in her future home.
