About Enzo
Meet Enzo. Enzo is a 2-year-old, approximately 20 lb sweetheart who has been in our rescue since he was just a tiny puppy. With his siblings already in their forever homes, it’s time for Enzo to find his own. Affectionate, curious, and intelligent, Enzo is incredibly loyal once he learns to trust. However, he can be timid and fearful when meeting new people due to his past experiences. When feeling scared, he may react defensively, so he needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands canine body language and can give him the time he requires to build trust. Enzo needs an adult-only home with no children. Once he feels safe and bonds with his person, a loving side of him emerges. He becomes affectionate, loyal, and eager to please, but trust needs to be earned at his own pace. Enzo is fully vetted, microchipped, dog and cat-friendly, and is making steady progress with potty training. His ideal home should be calm and structured, with a committed adopter who uses positive reinforcement to help him gain confidence. While Enzo may need a little extra understanding, he has so much love to give to the right person. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
