About Yogi
Meet Yogi, an endearing wirehaired mix weighing around 60 pounds and currently 6 years old. His unique lineage seems to include the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and German Wirehaired Pointer blended with some Labrador or Golden Retriever traits. Yogi is seeking a new home after the loss of his previous owner. He was rescued from Colorado Humane at just 2 years old and enjoyed a loving home for the past four years. All of his medical records are complete, and he does not have any known health issues. Though he may be a bit shy initially, Yogi warms up quickly and becomes quite friendly. He’s not destructive or noisy when left alone, having been accustomed to a home where someone was around most of the time. On walks, he does well, although he can pull a little. Yogi enjoys meeting other dogs but remains focused and happily continues on his way afterward. He’s not a runner, so you won’t have to worry about him bolting. Ideally, he needs a home where he can get regular exercise. In his foster home, he’s shown that he does great with young kids. Yogi is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
