About Wally Smart

Wally is a delightful Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing around 30 lbs and just over a year old. With his speckled coat and bright eyes, he embodies the clever and loyal Heeler spirit but carries a calm demeanor that makes him a joy to have around. Playful and friendly, he's a true social butterfly at the dog park, always inviting others to join in the fun. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs and is especially good with small dogs. While we haven't tested him with cats, Wally has shown no reaction to larger animals like horses and goats. This retrieving superstar is ready for action, whether it's playing fetch or trying out agility sports. When indoors, Wally’s a medium-energy companion who loves to snuggle under the covers at night. He’s a quick learner, fully potty trained, and even distinguishes when he needs to go out by ringing a bell. Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative, Wally is healthy and well-prepared for a loving home. He's hoping to find a family of his own to explore new adventures with and enjoy cozy cuddles. Currently in Houston, TX, Wally can be transported to your area with our rescue’s assistance.
