Meet Taggart. This energetic 3-year-old British Yellow Labrador is currently training with HappyGentle Dogs in Princeton, Texas. Taggart thrives on having a purpose; he was bred to work alongside his owner and enjoys activities like field work, hiking, and training. Affectionate by nature, he will lean into you for companionship as soon as he can. The ideal adopter for Taggart has experience with working breeds and is looking for a devoted partner rather than a dog that entertains himself. Provide him with structure, consistency, and tasks, and he will respond with loyalty and eagerness. Taggart has been trained without pain or fear, showing just how smart and willing he is to learn. Serious inquiries only, please. Potential adopters will have a Zoom meeting with his trainer to discuss Taggart's personality and his future needs. If you're ready to welcome a partner into your life, consider filling out an application for Taggart. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
