About DiDi
Meet DiDi, formerly known as Dee Dee. This lovely blue Pittie is around 3-4 years old and has a heart of gold. DiDi’s journey has been tough; she was part of a cruelty case in Creek County and taken to a rural shelter where her health quickly deteriorated. Severely emaciated and in need of urgent veterinary care, she arrived at Oklahoma Pet Collective Society on June 4. While hospitalized, it was discovered that she was also heartworm positive. Despite these challenges, DiDi has shown incredible resilience. With the right care, she's gained back her strength and learned to walk with some support. Her back left leg shows signs of an old injury, but that doesn’t stop her spirit. DiDi is house- and crate-trained, and she keeps her space tidy. She’s known for her adorable little bark and snoring, both of which add to her charm. Friendly with kids, dogs, and cats, she enjoys long walks, soaking up the sun, and car rides—she would happily spend all day outside if she could. This girl has fought for her second chance and is now ready for a forever family who can show her just how wonderful life can be. Could you be the one she’s waiting for?
