Maura is an estimated 4yo pittie mix rescued from Tulsa Animal Services just before euthanasia. And let me tell you... people have failed this poor angel. Maura had clearly recently had puppies and she was nothing but skin and bones herself. Maura is still extremely gentle and trusting. She loves pets and affection. She takes treats gently. Maura is partially blind due to a birth defect. She didn't get enough vitamin A in utero, so her eyes formed smaller than normal. HOWEVER, Maura does have partial vision in the left eye, and has adapted when it comes to navigating the world. She LOVES walks, smelling, and exploring when she feels safe!
