This sweet **2-year-old, long-haired Chihuahua** weighs just **4 pounds** and is eager to find a loving family who can give her the time and patience she needs to really shine. Cheekie came to Camp Companion with six other Chihuahuas and enjoys their company immensely. You can often find her racing around the fenced backyard, playing with her friends, and soaking up the sun. When it’s time to relax, she loves lounging in a sunny spot or snuggling into a cozy heap with her fellow Chihuahuas. She has made quite the progress with potty training, consistently using her potty pad and the doggie door to venture outside. No accidents elsewhere—impressive for such a tiny pup! Though Cheekie is a sweet cuddle bug, she has some nerves about being picked up. With a little love and gentle handling, she learns that it's safe to cuddle up close. She is not yet leash trained, so a secure, fenced yard is essential for her happiness. Cheekie would thrive in a home with another friendly small dog to help her gain confidence.
