Both dogs have short coats and are house trained, making them great companions. Located in Rockford, IL, they both need a fenced yard and a loving family without young children or cats.
About Darla and Pedro
Darla and Pedro are two Chihuahuas in search of a loving home, ideally together. Darla, a tan Chihuahua, was rescued from a dire situation where she faced euthanasia due to fear and potential for biting. Thanks to a dedicated trainer, she is now thriving and more confident. Pedro, about 5 years old, was found as a stray near an elementary school. He, too, has come a long way from his shy beginnings under the care of our trainer. These two have formed a tight bond, sharing a kennel and enjoy each other's companionship. Both love to cuddle and would happily join you for some cozy TV time. They thrive in a secure environment with fenced yards, as they can be flight risks if startled. Darla and Pedro would prefer a home without younger children, as fast movements can be intimidating. While they're good with small dogs, larger dogs can be a bit overwhelming for them. Darla has a bit of a chaser instinct with cats, so a cat-free home is best. Consider welcoming both into your home for the ultimate cuddle buddy experience.
