About Petra
Petra is a little survivor with a big heart, originally from the sun-kissed island of St. Lucia. At just around ten weeks old, she faced an incredibly tough start to life, wandering the streets in search of food and safety. Despite her challenges, Petra showed remarkable courage and resilience. When a rescue volunteer found her, she was scared but determined, quickly snatching scraps and retreating to hiding spots. Now in foster care with Bruno Project Rescue, Petra has transformed into a joyful and spirited dog. Her favorite activities include walks and outdoor adventures, and she lights up at the sight of her harness, bouncing with excitement like a little kangaroo. She adores her foster dog siblings and has developed a love for toys, cozy resting spots, and, most importantly, breakfast time. Petra is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can build her confidence at her own pace. Ideally, her new family should not have small children, as she can feel overwhelmed in loud environments. This smart girl has learned her routines well and greets each day with curiosity and joy. Despite her difficult past, Petra remains gentle, loving, and hopeful. She is ready to find that special someone who will recognize the incredible spirit within her and provide the loving home she truly deserves. Because Petra hasn’t just survived; she’s eager to truly live. Click apply to start the adoption process.
