About Astra HTX
Meet Astra HTX, a wonderful Great Pyrenees who came to Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue with her ten adorable puppies, born in mid-August. Astra’s previous family faced challenges, and although surrendering her was hard, bringing her and her pups into rescue allowed them to receive the care they need. Astra has a gentle spirit and an affectionate demeanor that endears her to everyone she meets. She adores belly rubs and eagerly offers her Pyr Paw, creating connections with her humans. Astra thrives in her foster home, getting along beautifully with six other dogs and showing off her easygoing temperament. Her most important role right now is being a loving mother, nurturing her puppies and ensuring they have a great start. Once they are weaned and thriving, Astra will be ready to embrace new beginnings. This sweet girl deserves a loving family that will cherish her. Astra has the potential to be a fantastic companion—gentle, dog-friendly, and incredibly loving. She’s just waiting for a forever home where she can be adored. Keep an eye out for her!
