About Woodchip Ivy

Meet Woodchip, a courageous girl with an inspiring story. At about a year old and weighing around 40-45 pounds, she’s believed to be a mix of Black Mouth Cur and German Shepherd. After surviving nearly 60 days in the tough conditions of the Arkabutla bottoms, she was found hiding in woodchips surrounded by poison ivy. Following a car accident that left her with a broken leg, Woodchip has since recovered fully thanks to the care and love from the team at Lizzy’s Luxury Lodge and Daycare. This social pup enjoys playing with other dogs and is gentle around children, having been introduced to a seven-year-old girl recently. Woodchip is spayed, vaccinated, and crate trained. She brings joy with her bright smile and affectionate nature. After all she has been through, Woodchip is ready to find a warm family to call her own and leave her survival days behind. Your new best friend is just one click away.
