Zcldangel is a three-year-old German Shepherd whose owner recently passed, leaving her in need of a new home. She has grown up in a caring environment and is looking for someone who can provide her with structure and lots of space—she’s energetic and really needs a yard to stretch her legs. Zcldangel is smart and picks up new commands with some motivation (a treat usually does the trick), although she can be stubborn. She’ll sit, stay, shake, and kennel up when asked, though sometimes with a little protest. Full of personality, she’s known for gently grabbing an arm or bringing a shoe to alert you she wants to go out, a routine she keeps consistent each morning and throughout the day. Don’t mistake her door-pawing or playful grabs for aggression—this is just how she communicates. Zcldangel is housebroken and lets you know when she needs to go out. She is okay with younger children, especially girls, but can be wary of boys, other animals, and passing cars. Her family has worked on her social skills, but in a busy household didn’t have the bandwidth for consistent training. Zcldangel would thrive with a confident, active adopter who’s able to continue her training and manage her boundaries.
