About Hank
Meet Hank! Hank arrived at the rescue from Dallas animal services, where he was rescued from the threat of euthanasia due to space constraints. When he got there, he was incredibly emaciated, scoring a 1/9 on the body condition scale. This young German Shepherd, estimated to be around 2 years old, is eager to experience all the joy he missed out on as a puppy. Though Hank may be timid, he has a sweet nature and would thrive in a home with another playful dog. He shows himself ready to play but often finds himself just watching rather than joining in. Once he fills out, Hank is sure to be a striking companion. He is kennel trained, walks well on a leash without pulling, and enjoys car rides. His past has made him a slow learner with rewards, but his gentle spirit shines through. Hank is all set to be transported to his forever home in the Northeast or Colorado. If you can offer him the patience he needs and the love he deserves, now is the time to apply!
