About Indy

Indy, a charming 9-year-old cat, was named after his owner's admiration for Indiana Jones. His life has certainly mirrored the adventures of his namesake. After his owner’s passing, Indy found himself and three other cats confined in a room with little human interaction. Fortunately, a family friend rescued them, allowing Indy to make his way to Tyson’s Place. Upon arrival, Indy had painful mats in his fur, which were carefully removed with veterinary assistance. He has now received a complete medical evaluation, dental care, and up-to-date vaccinations. He's fully house trained and ready for a loving home. While Indy may initially come across as shy, he has a heart full of potential. He’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can help him trust again. Once he feels secure, he'll surprise you with his cuddly nature, often staying close, sometimes just resting a paw on you. He enjoys watching the outside world and has a special affinity for his catnip banana. Indy has been without the affection every cat deserves for far too long. Now, he’s looking for a loving person willing to invest the time for him to flourish. If you're willing to help Indy come out of his shell, you'll gain a devoted companion who loves to be by your side. He has lived harmoniously with small dogs. Ready to give Indy a forever home?
