Imagine being excited to be leashed and go for a walk in the park with your owner...............and then imagine how you would feel when you are tied to a tree and your owner walks away. This is how Roxie made her way to the shelter. Her microchip revealed that she was adopted from a shelter in Florida 2 yrs ago and that Roxie is 3 yrs old. Roxie spent her 1st day confused and then fully recovered and showed us just how resilient and forgiving dogs can be! Roxie has the BEST zoomies and absolutely loves to loved on. She's extremely social with everyone she meets, is full of enthusiasm and loves to engage her human friends in play. Roxie can be full throttle 1 minute and then next she hits the off switch and splats on the floor. This fun loving gal is reliably housebroken and knows her basic commands! Children in her new family should be 10 yrs or older simply due to her playful pouncing which would easily knock little children over. Roxie is hit or miss with other dogs and she MAY tolerate a submissive male friend. No cats for Roxie please.
