This stray young man earned his name by being a bit overly affectionate with his greeting. Thankfully a simple neuter has curbed his enthusiasm. Heff is estimated to be about 2 yrs old and is actually a standard size for an American Pit Bull Terrier, which is only just around 40lbs for an adult male. It seems Heff was not taught much in his previous home, so he's making the best of learning with shelter staff and volunteers. It's all new to him but he's trying. Heff is more subdued with women and more excitable around men. Heff can have meet and greets with current dogs in the home, no cats as we have no history of him living with them. Children 12 yrs and older please.
