FOREVER FOSTER (or adopter) needed! Meet LIZZIE a sweet Senior-ita girl looking for a soft place to land to live out her years in comfort. Lizzie is a delightful easygoing girl whose needs are simple, a soft bed in a quiet home, people to love her and lots of soft squeaky toys. Oh and treats. Lizzie is all smiles when the treat bag comes out. Lizzie is 10-12 years old and pretty spry for her age. She loves fetching her toys before settling in for a good squeak session. She's a Heinz 57 varieties-type mixed breed, currently around 40 pounds but could stand to drop a pound or two. Lizzie is fine with smaller dogs but afraid of big dogs. She's not looking for a playmate but is fine with a doggie roommate. She'd also be okay with cats. She's best suited to a quiet home. As a forever foster, SDHR will cover the cost of her medical needs including any vaccines and preventatives as well as providing food and any other needed supplies. All current dogs and cats in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines.
