About Teddy

Teddy is a delightful dog who’s currently in foster care in Houston, Texas. At about 3.5 years old and 12 lbs, he’s a mix of Chihuahua and Miniature Poodle among other breeds. When rescued, he was in rough shape but now sports a lovely long coat that requires regular grooming. After undergoing cataract surgery, Teddy has regained his vision and is ready to see the world! He adores being a lap dog and loves to snuggle. While he generally gets along with other dogs, high-energy pups can bother him, so he might be happier as an only pet or with a calm older companion. Teddy has good leash manners and enjoys car rides but can be a bit protective over his food. He's house trained, though a bit of work in that area might still be needed. Teddy is looking for an experienced adopter without children under eight. His adoption fee is sponsored, making this sweet boy an even better find. Ready to fall in love?
