Rocket is a sweet and special boy! He is mellow, not a big barker, and has a playful side, too. He is surely one to become an adopters little shadow. Rocket is around 2 years old and about 17lbs. He is gentle and shy at first, but is overall happy go lucky and is good with other dogs of all sizes, likes to lounge and explore the yard, and will make a wonderful companion to a lucky family. Rocket loves human attention and being pet, is a little lap dog, enjoys treats and chew bones, and is good on leash. Rocket was found stray and landed in a high kill shelter. We are looking for a loving home for this boy and and one who will spoil him like he deserves. Rocket loves to be close, snuggle, and loves his people! He will make a great sidekick and walking/adventure buddy! Why you will love Rocket: Small & Mellow: he is the perfect lap-sized companion. Animal Friendly: He is a gem who gets along with dogs (big and small) and cats, too! Sweet Soul: Rocket is currently thriving in foster! He takes treats gently, is good with other dogs, and fairly go with the flow. Rocket is potty trained in his fosters routine, great when home alone and is fine to be in a gated area, too! He is also good in the crate. Rocket did well for his bath and grooming, and has been doing good on car rides to his appointments. Rocket is up to date on vaccines, neutered, on preventatives, microchipped, and dewormed.
