Not high-energy, Nelson is content just being with his family, enjoying quiet moments of affection. Although he can be a little protective about food due to being underweight, feeding him in a kennel has greatly helped. Generally quiet, he will only whine or howl when kenneled, expressing his desire to join the family. He is not fully house-trained yet, but he manages well in the kennel without accidents.
