About Rainey
Rainey and her two sisters entered the world on March 3, 2019, at the Tri County Humane Society. Despite a rocky start, she found a loving home at six weeks old, though unpredictable life changes led her back to rescue. Now, Rainey is a gentle giant with a big heart, weighing in at a healthy 100 pounds after shedding some extra weight through proper care and daily walks. Rainey is a well-mannered girl who has always been a house dog, enjoying free access throughout the home. She sleeps peacefully on the floor next to her humans at night and considers herself a cherished family member. Quiet in nature, she will alert bark when someone approaches, making her an effective watchdog easily calmed with a simple command. She adores the company of men, women, and older children, and also gets along comfortably with gentle dogs and even cats. While she enjoys social activities like fetch, visiting the beach, and attending events, she is equally content with belly rubs and brushing. Rainey is eager to please, known to come when called and sit on command. An experienced owner is ideal for this affectionate, strong girl as she thrives on obedience training to strengthen the bond with her new family.
