About Mint

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Estimated DOB: 5/7/2026 Mint is one very special little guy who is looking for a forever family willing to give him the extra patience, love, and TLC he needs to continue blossoming into the amazing cat he is meant to be. When Mint first arrived at Proverbs, he was just a tiny fraction of the size of his brothers. He has worked incredibly hard to grow into the happy, playful boy he is today—and watching his progress has been so rewarding! Now that he’s bigger and stronger, Mint has discovered just how much fun it is to wrestle, chase, and play with his brothers, as well as entertain himself with his favorite toys. Mint is still learning the finer points of how to be a cat, so his brothers, Oregano and Parsley, are his very own teachers. Because he relies on his siblings for confidence and guidance, Mint must be adopted with at least one of his brothers.Together, they help him feel comfortable, confident, and ready to take on the world. And then there’s food. As Mint has grown, so has his appetite! Mealtime is much more exciting when he gets to turn it into a hunting game. He loves batting and chasing his kibble across the floor before proudly tracking down his dinner. Mint is also incredibly curious about people. He loves climbing all over you—and has even been known to climb inside your clothes because apparently that is the best possible place to investigate from! He’s still learning to trust unexpected touches, so he may be a little skittish if someone tries to pet him out of the blue. However, he does wonderfully with pets while he’s eating or playing and is gradually learning that human hands can be a wonderful thing. And one of the best parts? We’re still not entirely sure what Mint’s adult coat is going to look like! Watching him grow and change is going to be part of the fun. He has what is called a fever coat. It's from his mama having a fever with him in her uterus. He's very unique looking right now. If you’re looking for a truly special kitten and are willing to give him the patience, companionship, and love he deserves, Mint is ready to find the family who will help him become everything he was meant to be. Mint needs to be adopted with a sibling or into a home with another active kitty. Adoption fee for Mint: $150; $225 for two kitties. Mint's siblings: Oregano and Parsley Mint is neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia.
