About Birdie
Birdie is a long-haired tabby with big feelings and clear boundaries, but thereās real softness under her regal exterior. Sheās currently sporting a lion cut to help with over-grooming and hairballsāa look she wears with unshakeable confidence. Her full coat will require several brushings a week, plus anti-hairball gels or treats as part of her routine. At first, Birdie is shy and may greet new situations with a dramatic hiss. She doesn't swat or biteāitās just her way of letting you know where she stands. Earning Birdieās trust takes patience and respect for her space. Once you do, youāll quickly realize sheās a sucker for chin and ear scritches, and especially anything edible. Sheās food-motivated and has yet to meet a treat she didnāt like. Birdie enjoys catnip and electronic toys and does well with other cats, as long as she gets to be the boss. She sails through vet visitsāshe simply freezes and lets the staff do their work. Birdieās ideal adopter is calm and cat-savvy, willing to invest time in grooming and boundary-building. She would do well as a solo cat or with other respectful feline housemates. If you appreciate a cat who needs patience and offers rare affection in return, Birdie might just be what your home needs. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
