Kaya is a lovely female Siberian Husky around 4 years old. She has a medium build and weighs approximately 40 lbs. Her striking gray and blue coat is well-groomed. Kaya is house trained and fully vaccinated, and while she hasn’t been spayed yet, she is medically up to date. Located in Middletown, CT, she’s a friendly girl who loves children and gets along well with other dogs.

About Kaya

Meet Kaya, a lovely 4-year-old female Siberian Husky, weighing in at about 40 lbs. This sweet girl is friendly and eager to make new friends, both human and canine! Kaya loves kids but is best suited for older children, aged 8 and up, or those who are dog savvy, as her playful nature might unintentionally knock over a smaller child. While she's great with dogs, we haven't tested her with cats, so her compatibility with them is a mystery. Kaya is currently in foster care, where she’s learning to adapt to life indoors after being kept outside before. She has a gentle and docile temperament, and she’s house trained as well as trained to use a doggy door. To ensure a smooth transition into a forever home, Kaya can participate in a one-week foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters, allowing you to see how she settles in. Kaya is medically up to date and will need to be spayed once she's ready. She thrives when given the proper outlets for her energy and does not enjoy being tied out.
