Meet Tito, an adult male Poodle mix! He is about 2 years old and 20ish lbs. Tito is settling in well with his foster and we are accepting applications for him now! He will be required to attend our adoption event in Dayville, CT on 9/20. His foster said, "Tito has been so sweet. He loves to cuddle up right next to me or on my lap. He loves chasing balls and playing with toys. He is working on house training. He has mastered sit. Loves to be outside and go on walks." Tito is medically up to date and neutered. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
