Beau is a male Beagle mix, approximately 2 years old and small in size. He weighs about 28 pounds and is crate and house trained. Although not yet neutered, his behavior is expected to improve with this procedure. Currently in Parma, OH, Beau is friendly, energetic, and great with dogs and older children.

About Beau

Meet Beau, a lively 2-year-old tri-colored Beagle who's packed with personality. His mischievous grin hints at the adventures he seeks and the joy he brings. Weighing in at 28 pounds, Beau arrived at the shelter as an owner surrender, known for being an escape artist, so a secure, fenced yard is a must for him. True to his Beagle nature, he's loyal, friendly, and full of energy. A nose for chasing tennis balls and a readiness for agility activities makes him a delightful companion. While he can pull on the leash, he’s already crate and house trained, responding well to commands like "cage." Beau is great with dogs and children, but prefers homes with kids aged 10 and up. A meet-and-greet with resident dogs is necessary. Though he hasn’t been exposed to cats, he does enjoy chasing small critters, so keep that in mind. Currently, Beau is unaltered and is working on his marking behavior during this transitional time. This big-hearted Beagle is part of our Foster-to-Adopt program, allowing you to welcome him home while he completes his health requirements.
