Meet Kody! This striking black and white Siberian Husky is estimated to have been born on August 5, 2023. He came to Murci's Mission from SCRAPS after a challenging start in life. Kody's past includes some tough moments—he was found tied to a fence on a scorching day due to his owner’s eviction. That experience left him feeling overwhelmed and frightened, often hiding in his kennel. During a walk-through to help make space for other strays, Kody caught the attention of the Murci's Mission team, and they decided to give him a second chance. Since leaving the shelter, Kody's transformation has been remarkable. While naturally cautious, he now displays all the characteristics of a healthy, happy dog. He is good on a leash, crate-trained, and has not had any toilet accidents. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a solid companion. Kody does well with older children who can respect his space, but energetic toddlers may be too much for him. This handsome boy has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. His adoption fee is $200 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, a food sample, medical records, and a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist.
