Mochi is a spayed female Pit Bull Terrier who will celebrate her 4th birthday this May. She was rescued from a harrowing start, abandoned as part of a litter at the city hall in Northeast Texas back in June 2022. After a brief adoption with her brother, life took a turn as her young owners divorced, leaving both pups to find their way back to foster care. Named after a sweet Japanese dessert, Mochi is more than just a name; she’s a strong, athletic girl who has overcome the odds. Remarkably smart, she learns commands quickly and exhibits a desire to please. However, it’s important to note that Mochi must be an only dog; she is not suitable for households with other pets due to her reactivity. While she has never shown aggression toward humans, she does display a protective instinct for her foster mom. Ideally, she would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and no small children. Mochi delights in car rides, enjoys walks with her harness, and loves to chase birds, embracing life with enthusiasm. This loyal companion is waiting for a special home where she can shine.
