Sweet, Playful Mouse (Special Needs: Deaf) Mouse was rescued from the Bronx as a heartbreaking sight: sick, tiny, and weighing less than four pounds. He spent two days in the emergency vet hospital fighting for his life, but the most amazing thing happened: he quickly purred and made biscuits for the vet staff. Despite the neglect he suffered, Mouse has emerged with a spirit of pure gratitude. He is an incredibly affection, playful, curious boy. He is a "velcro cat" in the best way-a curious explorer who wants to be your little shadow, but more importantly, a world-class snuggler. Mouse has been through the worst life can offer, and he is so ready for the best: a warm lap and a family to love him forever. Due to his severe ear infections and subsequent middle ear surgery, Mouse is deaf. He also wobbles slightly when he walks. But nothing stops him from having fun and enjoying life. He's super sweet with people but can be chasey with other cats so might be best as one and only.
